How are job resources allocated in the Ascend cloud?

Every customer enjoys a fully isolated compute cluster with guaranteed resource minimums on every plan. Ascend cloud runs on a multi-tenant Kubernetes cluster with fully isolated namespaces to ensure there are no ‘noisy neighbors’ in your environment.

Can Ascend be deployed in any region of the world?

Yes! Our Dedicated plan includes a fully managed Kubernetes cluster that can be deployed in your cloud environment. This includes your own public/private cloud VPN in any region supported by AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Can I access my on-premise data sources with Ascend?

Yes. Our platform can be configured to sync your privately hosted data sources to the cloud using a variety of secure connection protocols. Our Dedicated clusters can be deployed within the same environment as your privately hosted sources, helping you build intelligent data pipelines behind your own firewall.

Do you charge extra for specific connectors?

No. Ascend customers get access to our entire connector library, including our flexible API connector with intelligent schema-drift correction, as part of the complete data pipeline automation platform.

Does the Dedicated plan put any maintenance work on my team?

No! Our self-hosted deployments are remotely supported by the Ascend team. There is no burden on your team for ongoing maintenance or upgrades.
